QSE G8D CAAR Application has been developed so a better understanding of the effects of the failure, the costs of the failure, the risk of the failure and the repair of the failure can be tracked and reported in a common output. Each 8D has a linked Quality Alert Form ready and waiting, information automatically populates the CAAR. It answers the questions - What is responsible for the failure? Is it cost effective to initiate an engineering change? How does it affect the customer? What time did it happen? Where did it occur? How are you going to prevent it?
